Ted Ginn Jr Jersey

Ten Ginn Jr. was born in Cleveland, Ohio on April 12, 1985. Since his early career at Glenville High School, Ginn Jr. has been one of the most electrifying players in the country. He combines speed with strength in order to give opposing defenses match up problems in many facets of the game.

While in high school, Ginn Jr. played for his father. After his senior season year he was showered with awards including 2004 USA Today defensive player of the year, SuperPrep defensive player of the year, MVP of the United States Army game, just to name a few. During his senior season at Glenville, Ginn Jr. intercepted eight passes and successfully returned five of them for touchdowns. He also managed to return four punts for a touchdown, as well as one kick off. But football was not the only sport that he excelled at. Ginn Jr. also won a National Title for the 110 meter high hurdles.

After much debate, Ginn Jr. took his game to Ohio State University. As a freshman in 2004 he was used mainly as a return specialist. This led to him tying an NCAA record with four punt returns for a touchdown. In 2005 he stepped up his duties by also pulling in 51 catches; second most on the team.

As a senior in 2006 Ginn Jr. had his best year yet. He scored a total of nine touchdowns, and accounted for nearly 800 receiving yards. All the while he led the Buckeyes to an undefeated regular season, and an eventual loss to the University of Florida in the National Championship game. In this game, Ginn Jr. returned the opening kickoff for a touchdown, but sprained his ankle during the celebration. He never returned to the game.

Ten Ginn Jr. has declared himself eligible for the 2007 NFL Draft.

Ginn played all four seasons at Ohio State, and is expected to be a high pick in the 2007 NFL Draft.
